The Fourth Man in your Trouble
The Fourth Man in Your Trouble: Daniel 3: 24- 25: Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished and rose up in haste. He declared to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.” He answered and said, “But I see four men unbound, walking in the midst of the fire, and they are not hurt; and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods.” In life, there are different kinds of fires, Fire of difficulty, fire of oppression, fire of depression, fire of persecution, fire of lack, joblessness, broken relationships, etc. In the fire, you can STILL work, walk, and win!!!! I heard a preacher say, “Things happen for you, not to you.” I jumped in my seat and shouted, “That is right, Brother!” If we have this concept in our hearts during times of Trouble, it will help us conquer and stop playing the pity party game on ourselves. The bible stated in Romans 8:28; that all things work together for good for those who are in Christ Jesus.” These three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into fire for no fault of theirs. In life, things just happen, not because you did something wrong. Sometimes it might be as a result of wrong choices. However, whichever one it is, God WILL deliver you in the Fire not from the fire. A lot of lessons to learn from the bible scripture above: First, even in your fire, God is already there waiting for you to cool off the fire before you even get into it. He is the Fourth man in your situation! The fire that was supposed to be the end of their lives, turned out to be the place where they met God. God will meet you at the center of your trouble and right on time too. Secondly, three men were brought out but where did the fourth man go to? Simply put, He remained in your Fire to make sure it is properly quenched. Thirdly, the three men did not compromise their faith because of their Fate!!! They believed that God was able to deliver them and because of that, God showed up and showed off for them. He is the Fourth man in your Trouble!!!!! You are not alone. 2 Corinthians 4: 8-9‘we are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.’ Most people in life definitively have one experience or the other in their life where they feel knocked down or they lost to someone. Some have tasted hunger, rejection, cold, lack, depression, financial breakdown, and even broken relationships. The Bible states in Proverbs 24:16 ‘the righteous man may fall 7 times but he gets back up again. Yes, that is encouraging to know that! No matter the state of “lowness” you are in at this moment, the good news is that even though you are knocked down, you are not out! (2 Corinthians 4: 8-9). You will rise again! What most people do when they are down is that they play the self-pity party game and instead of rising up and moving on, they choose to stay down. It is usually not over until you say it is over. Do you know you could get trampled upon if you do not get up quickly and out of the way? Other people who were knocked down in life but chose not to be knocked out will arise and be among those who crush you on their way to victory if you do not rise up. Do not be lost in discouragement, worry, helplessness, and confusion. There is a saying that goes “Why worry when you can pray or why pray when you can worry.” The choice is yours! Choose to rise again or choose to be knocked down and out! The truth remains that you can be knocked down but not out. Tell yourself, "I refuse to quit." Pastor IJ AgunanneBLESSINGS UPON YOU
I decree and declare that you shall find favor before God and when God's favor shines upon you, the favor of men will flow! Weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning!!! Pastor IJ AgunanneAVOID SPIRITUAL 419
Avoid Spiritual 419! Dear Child of God, do not let the enemy deprive you of your blessings by telling you lies. The Bible says he is the father of all lies. So when next, he whispers to you that you cannot make it, just remember, he is trying to trick you! Do not neglect the power of a praying Mary, the faith of the woman with the issue of blood, the weeping of Mary Magdalene, the kitchen Martha, and Mary who chose the better part! Pastor IJ AgunanneLife without Jesus is like a doughnut!
Like the popular saying that life without Jesus is like a doughnut. So is anyone lacking fulfillment from the Lord. A doughnut has a whole (vacuum) in the middle. But if you are filled with Christ, then from the beginning of the year to the end of the year, God's everlasting arms are under us and if that is the case, be rest assured that your years will be filled with all the goodness in His hands. right to keep you unhappy.
God has an insurance policy for your life. The Bible says in 1 Chronicles 16:12 “Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm” That is your insurance policy, and it is full coverage. You are too blessed to be stressed. Why allow someone else access to destroy your happiness? Say to them- Touch not! Pastor IJ AgunanneWhen God remains silent
The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9 (NIV). Ignoring the silence of God will be the best advice I would give anyone. Is so hard to keep the faith and believe that God is nearby when you do not see any result. You are very much entitled to feel that He is absent even when He is right there with you. This is because circumstances are showing you He is not there. You may ask “How can God be present when I am going through all this?” This would be most people’s question. Here is the deal: - For you to receive the impossible, you will have to believe the unbelievable. Have you waited for that miracle for a long time? It takes just one day, one click from God and your situation changes for the best. When it seems that God is taking too long to answer, it is because He is busy mapping out the best strategy to give you an expected end. Remember that with God, all things are possible! It did not say some things are possible, it says ALL things are possible. Even in the book of Jeremiah 29:11; God reminds us that He is always thinking about us to give us an expected end. Have you ever seen somebody in deep thought; who tends to be quiet and silent? The same is God when He is making plans for you. Good plans indeed. He may seem silent but He is still at work in your life. Weep no more; your breakthrough is coming at the end of the silence. God is in charge! Simply ignore His silence and believe in His saving Grace.Pastor Ijeoma Agunanne.
